Surface Testing

Surface eddy current testing is used for the detection of surface cracks in both non-ferromagnetic and ferromagnetic materials. It is a sensitive inspection and often used to locate cracks. The calibration of this inspection is performed on a calibration standard which has electrically discharged notches. In addition to detection, this inspection can measure crack depth in non-ferromagnetic materials.

JSC Inspections – we offer Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection Services for clients in the oil-, gas- and petrochemical industries, the chemical industry, the energy sector and the construction of pipelines and structures industry.
